Who we are

Wryte (the “app”) and this website are provided by Truetech Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited (“Truetech Solutions”, “we”, “us”), a company registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan. You can reach us at info@truetechsol.org.

The text you style

Text you type or paste into Wryte is turned into fancy styles by the app itself, on your phone. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We do not operate a server for Wryte, and we cannot see what you write.

The app keeps a few things in its private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read:

• Saved favourites: the styled text you save with the heart button.
• Recent copies: the last 50 pieces of styled text you copied, so you can find them again. You can clear them on the Saved screen.
• Your last input: the text in the box at the top, so it is still there when you come back.
• Settings: whether you own Pro, and how many times you have copied something (used only to decide when to ask for a rating).

Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Styling text in other apps

When you select text in another app and choose Wryte from the menu, Android passes Wryte only the text you selected. The app styles it on your phone and hands the result back to that app (or copies it, if the field cannot be edited). The styled result you pick is added to your recent copies. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Clipboard

Wryte puts text on your clipboard when you tap Copy. It reads the clipboard only when you tap the Paste button in the text box.

No account, no ads, no analytics

Wryte has no sign-up or login. It shows no advertising, does not use your advertising ID, and contains no analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software. It never reads your location, contacts, photos or files.

Purchases

Wryte Pro is bought through Google Play, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. We never receive your payment details. Purchases are verified through RevenueCat, which receives the Google Play purchase record (the product, its price and currency, the purchase token and date), a random ID it creates for the app on your phone, the phone's model, Android version and language, and, as with any internet request, your connection's IP address. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address or anything you type in Wryte. This lets Pro be restored on a new phone; the app also remembers the answer on your device so Pro works offline. Google's handling of your purchase is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Ratings

After you have copied text ten times, Wryte asks Google Play to show its rating card once. Google Play decides whether it appears, and your rating and review go to Google Play under its own policies. We never see them through the app.

Permissions

• Internet and network state, used only for Google Play purchases and RevenueCat's purchase check.
• Google Play billing, to buy Wryte Pro.

Wryte requests no other permissions.

Device backups

If you have Android's backup turned on, your favourites, recent copies and last input can be included in your phone's backup to your Google account, so they come back on a new phone. Android encrypts this backup, and it is governed by Google's policies; we cannot access it. Whether you own Pro is not backed up: the app asks Google Play again on the new phone. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use this only to reply to you and to improve Wryte, and we do not share it with anyone else.

This website

wryte.truetechsol.org does not use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. The “Try it” box styles text in your browser and sends nothing. Like any website, it is delivered through hosting and network providers (currently Vercel and Cloudflare), which process technical data such as IP addresses in their server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Children

Wryte is a general-audience app. It collects no personal information such as names, email addresses or location from anyone, including children.

Your choices and rights

Everything Wryte keeps is on your phone, so you are in control of it: remove favourites, clear recent copies, or delete everything by uninstalling the app. We hold no copy that we could provide or delete for you. For purchase records held by RevenueCat or Google Play, or if you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to info@truetechsol.org.

Changes to this policy

If Wryte starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the app.
